Darlington – Boyd S. Price, 81 of Rt 1, Darlington, died Thusday in the emergency room at Culver Union Hospital. Mr. Price was a farmer and graduate of Bowers HS. He was born Oct 20, 1907 to Samuel and Orpha Booher Price. He married Martha Cook March 8, 1936 at Darlington. She died Feb 21, 1985. Surviving are a son, Barton L. of Brownsburg; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Harris of Lake Holiday; Marie Delaney, with whom he made his home; three sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Valliere of Crawfordsville; Maribelle Redman of Lafayette and Nellie Prather of Pennsylvania; and two granddaughters. A son, Adrian, a sister and a brother are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Darlington Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
